Cleveland Search & Rescue Team Base Appeal

Why do we need your help?

We need to invest in and upgrade our Team base. The heart of our Team, the base is a venue for training and maintaining our fleet of rescue vehicles and specialist rescue equipment. We have set a target of raising £150,000. This amount will provide us with a refurbished base and give a strong foothold for survival for the next 25 years.

Just how bad a state of repair is the Team base in?

Well the asbestos roof leaks. We have a strategically placed Team bucket to catch the water! The electrics keep tripping out during lectures and the base needs rewiring. Oh and we have to turn the water off to the toilets for the winter months to avoid pipes bursting. We urgently want to erect a metal fence around the base to improve security. In fact we have a whole raft of other pressing jobs too numerous to mention here.
