The team was called in to help Teesdale team who had been searching the previous day for a missing 81-year-old male. The teams were searching an area north of Stanhope in County Durham. The missing gentleman was found by a member of the public and treated with the assistance of one of our team’s cas-carers. The gentleman was then transferred to the Cleveland police helicopter and flown to James Cook hospital.
There were 9 members from Cleveland team and the incident lasted about 3 hours.
