Incident no.37 Guisborough woods. (Search/Rescue)

The team were first called by the police to search for a missing vulnerable male possibly in the Guisborough woods/moors area. We were assembling a search pattern when we received a call from the Ambulance service to go to the help of a fallen mountain biker in approx the same area. As it turns out the missing vulnerable and the mountain biker are one in the same. The missing male was found by some mountain bikers in the woods who called 999 after the police call had already been made. At the end of the day the gentleman was put in the police helicopter and taken to James Cook hospital to be checked out.
There were 15 team members on this call which lasted approx 1 ½ hours.
