Incident 20 Sandsend Search

July 5th 2010:1945 hrs. We were asked by Whitby police to help them locate a 41 year old Sandsend man who had not been seen for over 24 hours. He was known to have a medical condition and was believed to be camping in the forrested area to the west of Sandsend. As the area was on our operational boundary with Scarborough and Ryedale MRT we asked them for assistance in this search. The missing man was located and we stood down about 2230hrs.
24 CSRT and 21 SRMRT members were involved in the search.
